Students participated in a workshop on Monday with the Shakespeare in the Schools program. Many students felt the workshop, on Shakespeare's language, poetry, and prose, was a review, but all things considered, that will set them up nicely to jump right in when we get to our Shakespeare unit.
For the rest of the week, students spent class time in their small groups reading together the selections of their genre.
In the coming week, students will research background information about their genre and prepare their presentations.
